Here is my own recipe for Cornish pasty.
you will need plain pastry to cover bottom plus top of a good size baking tin or tray.
ingredients
potatoes, carrots, peas(garden type), onion and corned beef.
chop up potatoes, carrots and onion and place them in a pan along with the peas and boil till cooked.
drain the veg and then rub in corned beef, don't overdo the corned beef. rustic the veg but don't overdo it.
rollout plain pastry and place on the baking tin or tray then empty the veg with corned beef on to the pastry then finish by putting another layer of pastry on top to make a pie. I don't egg wash as this gives a better taste.
cook in oven till baked that is it. enjoy
